This piece is based on the cartoon series, Good luck Charlie. It’s time for the yearly trip to Grandma and Grandpa’s house in Colorado for the 4 Duncan kids and their mum Amy.  The Duncan family comprises of Dad Bob, mum Amy, siblings Pj, Teddy and Gabe and including Charlie the youngest Duncan family member. The relationship between Bob and his in laws never was strong, and every year he stayed behind when Amy and the kid went to visit the Grandparents. This year Amy is adamant to take Bob with her to her parents’ house by convincing him that her disproving parents might have changed since it had been so long by him to going to their house.

This story worked really well for me as I could see the humour between the characters’s something that’s always present in the television series. Even though it is an emotional scene the author seemed to capture both the humour and emotion really well through this scene. It could have included a little more detail on why Bob and his in laws have such a rocky relationship.

Packed to the Rafters

This fan fiction is centered around the couple Jack and Rachel from the televison show Packed to the Rafters. Jake and Rachel have been together for a fairly long time and in this piece we see Jake finally popping the question to the love of his life. He takes Rachel on a suprise filled trip to an isolated beach were he leaves her notes leading her to the final suprise, were he proposes to her by writing in the sand 'Marry me Rachel' in knee deep water asking her to be his wife. Rachel says yes making Jake the happiest man. 

I really enjoyed this fan fiction as it had a wonderful ending and just like others who are fans of the couple it is something we all want to see happen. It easily is able to paint a picture in our heads about the setting of this piece through the writing style of this author.

 In this fan fiction, the Hennessy family is reeling from the death of thier beloved father Paul Hennesey. We see the two daughters having a argument in the morning over toast. We are also shown two of the other characters thier uncle CJ and Grandpa would seem to have normality back in thier lifes. Then we are shown Bridget in her room, refusing to go to a party with her sister when she is known as the "party" girl. Her hesitation to go to the party shows us that she is having a hard time dealing with the passing of her father. Bridget is caught with a joint and confesses to being addicted when her uncle CJ and sister persude her to get help from her mum.

This fan fiction worked really well for me as I expected one or more of the character's to have a hard time dealing with the death of thier beloved family man Paul Hennesey. Through this we are able to connect with the characters with either sympathising or empathising with them.

In this fan fiction we are shown a relationship that is in trouble from the show How I met your Mother. The two friends who later became romantically involved have a conversation that could change thier lifes forever. Robin wants to know if there is any chance that she and notorious player Barney could gert back together who she left for Kevin her ex boyfriend. Barney doesnt want to go through the hurt again of being rejected by Robin and loses his cool whilst telling her harshly that they cant see each other anymore as it just wouldnt make sense and leaves telling her to have a good life leaving Robin heart broken and hurt.

This fan fiction is quite intresting as it shows the character of Barney in a totally different light were he shows the other side of him by loses his cool and getting angry at Robin, something the character on the show would not do.
